-In the winter I will happily put on coats and booties that help provide safety and comfort on those extreme weather walks.
-Walks include a refill of fresh water in their bowl, any required snacks, and easily administered medication.
-Walk time is actual outside time. This means your pup/dog will get to enjoy the fresh breeze for at least 30 minutes , 45 minutes, or 1 hour. I do not penalize for getting in and out of the building in most circumstances.
-Clean paws and dry off the pets after rainy/snowy walks
(Need something specific not listed? Please ask.)

Everyone knows the key to a happy dog is walks, walks, and more walks. Your Pet Nanny will take your dog out for a refreshing, rejuvenating romp around the neighborhood.
In addition to providing the exercise your dog needs, I also offer the key socialization and stimulation dogs crave.
But if your dog is leash reactive, doesn't socialize well with other dogs, has a little anxiety etc, I can help you and your dog with this too.
Safety is serious business
Your dog's safety is my top priority. Your dog will have all of my attention and never be left alone. I keep a watchful eye on your dog/dogs (if you have multiple dog household), making sure that they are never put into a potentially dangerous situation like so many individual pack walkers do AND I'm not one of those dog walkers who is listening to music and eyes on my phone like so many on the streets of NYC.
Life can be wonderful with an aging dog. Do you have an elderly dogs that need to take it nice and slow on a walk? Or an older dog content just to lay around in the apt but needs to be checked on and maybe play around the apt? I go easy and go at their pace.

Walk in shade on a hot day ~ asphalt and sidewalk can be up to 15° hotter/or hotter - this is a known fact and can burn your dogs paw. Animals are stoic creatures. They will not cry out in pain like you or I in many cases. (Walking on very hot payment is a good example of one.). It’s always a good idea to check their paws to make sure they aren’t bleeding /dry/cracked/raw. I recommend putting your hand on cement for 10 sec. on a hot day - this is what your dog feels.
~ Keep your dogs hydrated
~ Always bring water on a walk
~ If you will be out with your dog for long period of time - freeze a bottle of water and it will melt and you will have a chilled bottle for them.
~ After extended / long walk time on a hot asphalt / sidewalk - paws burn - try doggie booties. This is a great option to help paws.
~ Moisturize your dog’s paws - Consider moisturizing your dog’s feet daily to help prevent injuries like cuts, cracking, or peeling of the paws. Minor injuries like this can make your dog’s paws more susceptible to burns and other serious problems.
